James "Gene" Eugene O'Connell

Gene was born to Jimmy and Myrtle O'Connell in Denver, Colorado. He went to Barnum Elementary and West High School, was active in 4-H and attended Colorado A&M. Gene lived in Denver, Lakewood, Northglenn and Ft. Collins. He worked at King Soopers, Gates Rubber Co., Public Service Co. of Colorado, Interstate Contracting and Danella - Counties.

Dad had a passion for Photography and Traveling, especially to Ireland. He also enjoyed Fishing, Camping, Gardening, Shooting and Bowling.

Dad was proceeded in death by his parents and his two beloved dogs, Sally and Molly.

Dad is survived by his Children: Dave and Staci O’Connell, Don and Kathy O’Connell, De Ann and John Duncan; his grandchildren: Zac O’Connell and Britta Usedom, Chase O’Connell; Kaley O’Connell and Andrew Feldkamp, Ryan O’Connell; and Tye Duncan.
