Jim loved people and sports. He was generous and kind and enjoyed including others in the things he loved. He loved the Chicago Cubs, The Green Bay Packers, and the CSU Rams. Most of all, Jim loved his family.
Born on 16 September, 1938 in Bagley, Wisconsin, he was the son of Clifford and Irene Brown. He graduated from Bagley High School, attended college at Whitewater State University, and went on to complete his Master’s Degree at Colorado State University. He taught at the junior and high school level for seven years before taking an administrative position at CSU. He worked at CSU for 32 years as assistant vice president for research.
Jim met Nancy Lego while working in Illinois. They were married in Colorado Springs, Colorado on 16 June 1963, and remained happily so for more than 61 years. In 1964, they moved to Northern Colorado, where they would call home and raise their family. Jim was a good man, a loving husband, caring father, and a dear friend. He will be dearly missed.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Ann Brown; their daughters Lisa Mullet (Brian) and Christy Albo (Christopher); grandchildren, Calvin Mullet, Maxwell Mullet (Deana), Sydney Hubbell (Jon), Emily Albo (Zach), Nic Albo (Caitlin), and Kate Albo; great-grandchildren, Rowan Mullet and Penelope Hubbell; and by his brother, Cliff Brown (Sue).
