Jimmy was the last of 14 brothers and sisters. His mother died when he was four. He was our ROCK, a leader both in life and death. He was a keen-eyed craftsman with exceptional attention to detail , captivating story-teller, and a witty sense of humor and a jolly laugh. He loved a good JOKE especially when played on someone else! Best known for his unbeatable ""Mulligan's Stew"" and in 1952/53 he held the record for the 50 yard dash. He was an active member of Chisholm Baptist Church. Saying goodbye to a PARENT is one of the hardest journey's in life. When Jimmy was diagnosed with lung cancer he prayed not that God would heal him, but that God would give him a ""Positive Attitude"". Jimmy will be greatly missed and remembered for his candor approach, resilient demeanor to overcome much pain, loss, suffering and disappointments in his short life. A rich legacy we embrace. He lives in our hearts as an example to love others and find joy regardless of the pain and suffering this world delivered because of John 3:16-17, and Romans 8:28.
