JoAnne was loved by everyone who met her and always had a happy smile when you were around her. Joanne had a strong sense of duty to her family and could do anything she put her mind too. She was a lifelong animal lover, her favorite animals were horses, ducks, cats, dogs and rabbits. She loved her jobs cooking and baking for assisted living facilities and several local grocery stores through the years, as well as owning a trucking company.

She loved old movies and a wide variety of music, that she played quite loud in her younger years. She was excellent at crossword puzzles and Scrabble and had a deep love of languages. She enjoyed playing computer games on facebook with family and friends.

JoAnne knitted over a thousand hats to be given to the children at the Loveland Elks Christmas party over the last four years.

She was married to Marlin Laverne Furney, Marvin Leroy Heil, and was in a long term relationship with Dale Bramwell. They are all deceased.

Also preceding her in death were her father, Jay D Winn; her sister, Shirley Sandlian; and grandchildren, Corey J. Furney, Anthony Joseph and Benjamin Jerome.

She is survived by her mother, Elsie E Winn; her sister, Lora Winn; children, Deborah Furney, Jay Furney, Jerry Furney and Marla Furney; 2 grandchildren, Hazel Furney and Keanna Furney; and many other family members.

Visitation will be held 11am –2 pm Tuesday, December 27th, followed by a 2 pm Funeral Service at Resthaven Funeral Home. Inurnment at Resthaven Memory Gardens will take place at a later date.
