

He was born in Denver, CO to Hoyt A. Dudley and Thelma L. Dudley on December 27, 1944.
He graduated in 1964 from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS.
He was active in church and in the theater where he performed in South Pacific.
He married Ellen R. Dudley (Story) March 15, 1974. He worked most of his life as a traveling salesman. People would say, “He could sell ice to an Eskimo and make them believe they were getting a great deal.” This was the perfect career; because next to his family he loved to DRIVE! On the weekends he loved to drive over Rocky Mountain National Park or to see family in Omaha or Missouri.
John was preceded in death by his brother, Hoyt A. Dudley Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew and Johnathon Dudley and stepfather, George Coleman.
John is survived by Ellen R. Dudley, spouse; Donald A. Dudley and Annette Dudley; son and daughter-in-law; Josh Rodriguez and Carolyn M. Rodriguez, daughter and son-in-law; Donna Dudley, sister-in-law; Alyssa Gilbert, Lacy Bonn, Quentin Reeves, Kebrina Bonn, Brooke Dudley, and Kyra Dudley, grandkids; and Isabelle and Aurora Munoz-Martinez, Skyler, Stephen and Sam Gilbert; Hazily and Hendrix Ingram, great-grandkids. And many loved and cherished friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will held 11:00 am, Monday, July 24th at Resthaven Funeral Home, Fort Collins, CO.
A Living Memorial will be held Father’s Day the 17th of June 2018 in Kansas City, MO at Josh and Carolyn Rodriguez’s home.
