Judith "Judy" D. Williams, of Cheyenne, WY, went home to the Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Fort Collins, CO. She was 80 years old.

Judy was a woman of great faith. Every morning she would read her Bible verses. She loved horses, loved to draw and enjoyed collecting rocks, especially heart-shaped ones. Judy was a big fan of the Denver Broncos. She loved the mountains and she loved to travel.

More than anything else in the world, Judy loved her family. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. Judy loved to smile, her smile brought so much joy to others; she even received a "Greatest Smile Award" from her job at the college. Judy was always so happy to see her family. On many occasions they would just pop into town to surprise her, looking forward to her excited reaction and the warmth of her smile. She was deeply loved and she will be dearly missed.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Anna Lansman, and her sister, Jane Norton. She leaves behind a great legacy and is survived by her special friend, Roger A. Vigen; sons, Jon D. (Valerie) Carey, Robert J. (Terry) Carey, Timothy M. (Cheri) Carey; daughter, Susan D. (Jeff) Bates; grandchildren, Stephanie (Steven) Davidson, Kelsey (Matt) Wilson, Tony Bates, Alexandrea (Richard) Ashley, Brecklyn Carey, Chaylei Carey, Trahyger Carey, Chrissy (Kris) Bussey, and Emilee (Conner) Feldotto; nieces, Jill (Chris) Davis and Jodi (Jeff) Langdon; nephew, Jason Kropp; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Growing up, Judy was my idol. She was 8 years older than me, and I always thought she was beautiful. One of my favorite memories is of us spooning in bed. Judy, Jane & I all shared a bed. She was there when I learned to ride a bike while staying with them out on the farm. Jane and I would visit her in Lewis when the boys were little. We have kept in contact throughout the years, and the years have finally caught up with us. I will miss you, Jud. Now, you're with Jane and watching over all of us. Give Mom & Willie a hug for me. Love & hugs, Kathy

A huge part of me was just snatched away when I read this. I have known and loved Judy since we were 6 years old. Our first kiss was the first for each of us. Our lives went separate ways when I left Audubon in 1958, but she has always been in my thoughts.
I was blessed with her presence in 2013 for about a week, and I will always cherish the short time we spent together.

The world has lost a beautiful lady. To you who loved her, or just knew her as a friend, l feel your pain. As long as you keep her in your heart, she will still be with you.

Judy, I will miss you for the rest of my life.
