Kelly Beaver, age 52, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, after suffering from a long illness. It should be noted that Kelly spread love and sunshine on everybody she met until the weekend of her death.
Kelly did not let her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis slow her down. In fact, she was the Resident Council President in her Nursing Home for five years, even during infusion treatments. She was a fierce advocate for those who could not speak for themselves, often working herself into exhaustion to bring dignity and caring to those less fortunate than herself. She maintained a positive attitude throughout her illness and showed more concern for her husband and the other residents than for herself.
Her family asks that contributions be made to the MS Society instead of flowers. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and was passionate about spreading information and not propaganda.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Beaver, her mother, Linda Thomas, her sister, Terri Anderson, brother-in-law, Reggie Anderson, two nephews, Joshua and Justin Anderson. She also considered Karen Britt and Lee Gibson to be members of her family.
