Linda was the proud owner of Lin’s Sew and Iron Shop for 30 years. Her unique niche was providing pick up and delivery. Her devoted clientele ranged from the well known, the bachelors to the working woman.
After retirement Linda devoted her time to her yard. It was immaculate and lush. She was especially fond of roses and was the envy of all who saw them.
She shared her life with many dogs over the years but her precious Simba was her greatest joy and her most recent, Lucky, was her steady and devoted companion to the end.
Linda enjoyed wood burning, painting, crochet and embroidery. She was an avid reader who couldn’t part with her books as they became friends that could be revisited.
She is survived by her three sisters, Lois, Sandy, and Ruby and her brother Frank. She is also survived by children; Leroy (Vernetta), Ricky, Terry (Lissette), Caroline, Allen (Carol), Shanda (Charlie), and Robert; grandchildren, Grant (Chloe), Lance, Liz (Dalton), Heather, John (Brittany), Candie (Shane), Lily, Tyler, Madison, Tosha, Carolina (Jake), Shaun, Tanna, Doug (Christy), Mike, Zachary, Cassidy, Devin (Caitlin), Amanda (Scott), Ashton, Roman and twenty one great grandchildren.
