Lydia Arispe Zamudio, 69, of Wellington, Colorado, entered Eternity on Friday, July 12th, 2024. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend, Lydia will be missed by all of us. She’s preceded into Eternity by her Mother and Father, Lily and Ramon, and by her Brother Steve. She leaves behind her son, Vince and his wife Briana, her two grandchildren, her sisters, Ramona and Victoria, her brothers Victor and Florentino, her beloved nephews and nieces, her dear lifetime friend Robert, as well as countless family and friends who loved her dearly.
Lydia lit up a room wherever she went. Full of joy, kindness, and love, she made everyone she knew feel special. She was a woman of strong faith, a follower of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a faith that she passed on to her son and to anyone she could. Lydia’s favorite times were to spend time in prayer and song.
Lydia’s Family and Friends will remember her most by her infectious joy and smile. She also had a great sense of humor. She loved to laugh and to make others laugh. Lydia was also a very generous and giving person, often giving to others so they wouldn’t go without. It’s just the person she was, she never needed or sought attention for the kindness she showed, she simply showed kindness to others from a pure heart. Lydia was also a huge, devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, trying to catch every game she could. Anyone who had a chance to catch a game with her was in for a real good and fun time.
For those who knew her, her son Vince thanks each and every one of you for all your love and support and for being such a special part of her life. She loved each and every one of you more than you’ll ever know and she’s looking forward to meeting you all again in Eternity.
One of Lydia’s final wishes, was that her family and friends remember her love for the 49ers and wear Red and Gold at her Celebration. Our Family invites you to join us in Celebrating her Remarkable Life at 10:00am, Saturday September 7th 2024 at Bethel Family Praise Center 19950 County Road 78, Eaton, CO 80615.
