M Sgt (r) Bonnie Clausen

M Sgt (R) Bonnie Clausen, 63, of Windsor passed away on November 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born on September 27, 1947 in Casper, Wyoming to Slim Allen and Mary (Westman) Allen Howard. She graduated from Natrona County High School, Casper, Wyoming, in 1965. On June 30, 1967, she married Dale Clausen. She attended Casper College and University of Colorado, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree. She served honorably in the Colorado Air National Guard for 24 years, including Operation Desert Storm and numerous other operations abroad. Bonnie worked for the Visiting Nurse Association as a physical therapist, as a medic at Buckley Air National Guard Base, and a physical therapist at Poudre Valley Hospital and North Colorado Medical Center. She was a strong, loving, woman who loved spending time with her grandkids.She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Clifford (Sarah) Clausen and Kaycee (Messina) Clausen; brothers, Victor (Brenda) Allen, Clifford Allen, Ross Allen, Richard Howard and Gordon (Leslie) Howard; a sister, Ovida Kuhn; and grandchildren, Morgan Belle, Savanah Rose, Cinnamon Angel, and Zechariah Clifford.A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home.
