Marilyn JoAnne Moody of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away Friday, January 5, 2024. She was born in Estherville, Iowa on September 22, 1934. She was the oldest of 6 kids. She married the love of her life, Willard Carl Moody on June 13, 1952 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Together they operated Moody’s Trailer Sales & Rental in Cheyenne for several years. They had two sons, Donald and Dennis Moody. They moved to Rist Canyon, Colorado in 1975.
Marilyn was a member and volunteer at the Bellvue Senior Center and the Red Hat Society for many years. Every available minute she was helping others. She would give her shirt off her back if she could. She was an animal lover. She also had a knack for making and enjoying crafts in her craft business.
She is survived by brothers, Jimmy and Gordon McAffee, both of Wyoming, grand kids, nieces and nephews all over.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Moody, son Donald Moody, parents Leroy and Dollie McAffee, and brothers Ted, Dale, and Lenard McAffee.
A memorial service for Marilyn will be held at 12pm Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Allnutt Funeral services, Drake Chapel, with a reception to follow.
