Martha Elsie Schrepel

Martha Elsie Schrepel, 83, of Windsor, passed away June 19, 2008.Martha was born December 25, 1924 to Anna May (Liebelt) and David Edward Collard in Fairplay, CO. She graduated Saint Scholastic Academy in Canyon City in 1942. After high school, she came back to the family ranch. While in the area, Martha met her future husband Daniel Fairly Schrepel in Climax, CO. They were married December 24, 1948 in Kremmling. They moved to Wellington in the early 1950's until 1961 when they moved to the Timnath area and continued farming. She spent her life farming and taking care of her family. Before there was television, Martha loved to listen to the radio. She adored animals and especially liked naming the dairy cows.Martha is survived by her sons Frank Schrepel and Glenn Schrepel (wife Vicki) both of Windsor; her daughter Martha A. Schrepel of Nathrop, CO; her brother Robert Collard of Wheatland, WY and three grandchildren: Clayton, Curtis and Kenneth Schrepel all of Severance, CO as well as many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel, one son John Schrepel and two brothers Charles and Frank Collard.A funeral service will be held 10:00am, Monday, June 23, 2008 at Resthaven Funeral Home with interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S.
