Mary Ann Severin

Mary Ann was born March 4, 1941, in Tripp County, South Dakota to Mary and Peter Struck. She married August Severin in 1959. They lived in various South Dakota towns until 1970 when they relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her children William Fleming, Ronda Severin Litzau (Jerry), Rene Severin Fenton (Tim) and Raymond Severin (Mary). Mary Ann is also survived by sister Eileen Hansen, a brother Richard Struck, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Mary Ann was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and those whose lives were touched by her.

We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact she had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Services for Mary Ann will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, CO. For those that wish to say their final goodbyes, there will be a brief viewing at 10am with Mary Ann’s Celebration of Life at 11am. She will be laid to rest with her late husband, Gus. Please join the family for a luncheon to follow and a time of fellowship and remembrance.
