Mary Elizabeth Watkins

Mary Elizabeth Watkins, age 36, of Fort Collins, Colorado, became an angel on January 21, 2021, after a 2-year battle with cancer. She passed away with her husband and 2-year-old son by her side and surrounded by family.

Mary, maiden name Kunkel, grew up in Tinley Park, Illinois. She was extremely proud to be an Irish girl from the south side of Chicago. An animal lover from the time she was a child, she rescued many unwanted cats and dogs until the day she passed away. She was married on October 6, 2016, to Nicholas Jordan Watkins and could not wait to have children. They were blessed with a son, Jackson Murphy Watkins, born on April 5, 2019. She was a devoted wife and mother. She will be forever missed.

Mary leaves behind her husband, Nicholas, her son Jackson and many family and friends.
