Patricia Ann Sweetland

Patty was born in Arizona, later moving to southern California with her family, where she eventually welcomed her son, Michael, into the world. She was very strong in her Christian faith and taught her son early in life about the love of Jesus. She also loved flowers and music, always singing at the top of her voice off-key, with the joy of music emanating from her.

In her final years, she resided in Colorado with her son, Michael, daughter-in-law, Amy, grandpuppy, Sheba and Michael's mother-in-law, Kathy. We will all miss her smile, her laugh and, of course, her singing. Patty was a huge presence in our lives, leaving a gaping hole that will take time to close and heal, but we take comfort in knowing she is now at rest, awaiting Jesus to take her to her eternal home, where she will see loved ones who have preceded her in passing.

Patty's Celebration of Life is planned for July 17, 2025 at 2:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado, after which she will be laid to eternal rest.
