Phyllis Greenfield, 86, of Fort Collins died on September 12, 2009 at the Fort Collins Healthcare Center. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Roca, NE to Claude and Hazel (Best) Kiser. She graduated from the Colorado Teacher's College in Greeley and taught in several rural schools in Wray and Yuma (Yuma West School) and several Fort Collins schools. Phyllis enjoyed crossword puzzles and the Colorado Rockies.She is survived by children, Daniel and Starla Greenfield, Tim Greenfield, Kathy Greenfield, and Philip Greenfield; grandchildren, Danelle Edwards, Leah Irvine, Nathan Greenfield, and Monta Greenfield; and great-grandchildren, Bailey Greenfield and Kora Greenfield.She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Kiser; a nephew, Gail Kiser; and a great-granddaughter, Alexia Irvine. A Remembrance Gathering will be held from 1:00 â?? 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Flagstone Community Center, 4550 Larkbunting, Fort Collins.
