

The world was made a better place Oct. 15, 1943 when Reba Sue Keene Fowler was born. She was born to Eunice and Harvey Keene in Fosterburg, IL with 2 older sisters and a brother, two of whom have proceeded her in death. Reba shared a special relationship with her sister Ruby, who still lives in southern IL. At a Loveland hosptial on Sept. 26, 2023, Reba went to be with Jesus.
Reba married her high school sweetheart, Marshall Fowler, Dec. 15, 1962 and soon after the couple moved to Jacksonville, IL where they raised 2 daughters, Christianna and Heather. Reba was a homemaker, and community and church volunteer. The family moved to East Bay United Methodist Church Camp in 1984 where Reba and Marshall lived and worked for 18 years. After retiring from the camp, the couple moved to Fort Collins, CO to be near family as they have 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, in addition to their daughters and sons-in-law.
Throughout her life Reba was a loving "people person" with her great joy connecting with others. She volunteered with the children's ministry at Timberline Church and was also involved with various prayer and small groups through the years.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Timberline Church, Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10am.
