Roger was born June 13, 1940 in Eggers, CO. He graduated from Fort Collins High School. He married Clydene Hilgenberg in 1962. In 1998, he met Donna Ramsey and they were together until his passing.
Roger was a life-long farmer and dairy operator in Fort Collins, CO. He retired and moved up to the Poudre Canyon in 2009.
He is survived by his son, Keith (Martha) Amey; daughter, Sandy (Will) Greybar; sister, Judy Bernard; nephew, Earl (Kristy) Bernard; and his significant other, Donna Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Alma Amey and his wife Clydene Amey.
