Born on November 7, 1942, in White Plains, New York, Rosemary was the daughter of Anthony and Rose Piacente. She married the love of her life, Edward Kaether, on February 2, 1963, in White Plains, NY. Together, they built a beautiful life over more than six decades of marriage.
A longtime resident of Stamford, Connecticut, Rosemary worked for many years at Nathaniel Witherell in Greenwich, Connecticut, where she was known for her compassion and dedication. After retiring, she and Edward moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2007 to enjoy their later years surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.
Rosemary was the loving mother of four children: Michael (Angelina), Greg (Marcy), Jeff, and Jennifer (Frank). She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Michael, Brian, Andrew, Tyler, Brandon, Kayla, Aiden, Michael Paul, Dylan, Lucas, and Nicholas — each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
She is survived by her husband Edward; her brother Robert (Patricia); and her sister Beth. She was preceded in death by her sister Cathy.
Rosemary will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her deep love for her family, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
