I remember when Siraj came down to our house inviting me to learn how to cook Indian/Pakistan food🌟 how blessed I felt that he would think of me. I loved our shared conversations,  he was an amazing man🙏 his loving family Aziza, Isha, Omar (forgive if I misspelled or forgot someone ).  We lived in a community that shared each others lives, brought flowers or produce from gardens, sat out to enjoy the morning or evening gift of light, darkness, stars and quiet. Not a time passes when I make my rice pilaf or chicken do I not say his name remember the smell of spices and spirit of the moment. May the spirits of your religion guide you on to your next journey. You blessed my life, enriched it with "spice" , kindness and love🌟 Thank you.

I still remember the day Siraj came knocking on my door, said he wanted to teach me how to cook, his daughters were not interested😂 so many warm loving hours in the kitchen telling stories! I grew to love him as a grandfather. He gave me a wonderful Indian foot stool. 
I carry the vivid smells of spices cooking in rice, chicken and eggs. 
My heart embraces all the family.  My love and blessings to his children whose company we enjoyed immensely❤️ We love you, Me and Bob
