I know its been years since we have seen each other but there was always a sincere connection between Tom, you and the kids and getting to know all of you in the Karate classes. Tom was so proud of his children and just watching him smile and yelling when they were doing their matches was priceless. He made us laugh. My deepest Sympathy go out to the whole Spitz Family. I hadn't seen Tom recently but I will always remember him as my junior high square dance partner. Every time he would make it seem like just yesterday we saw each other. For that I will miss.

As Lynette and I read of Tom's passing of course we were both saddend by his early passing. We began chatting how about how much fun growing up was in our neighborhood was.  The early warm days of spring and the anticipation of school ending and spending the hot days of summer running between households and the swimming pool for icetea on the deck at our house and jumping into the pool.  Or how about the noise of life comming always from the Cavallero's!.  We were never ever far from home in those days.  We also know how very much a part of life parents were to us, and that you all gave all you had to all of us. He and I in recent years had become friends again, and I talked to him alot on the phone most recently a week ago this past Wednesday. I have alot of good memories playing against Tom in High School and playing softball with him. 

My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to all who mourn the loss of such a fine man as Tom.  We shared mutual respect for one another and shared many of laughs.  Playing softball with Tom was the most memorable as he took the game seriously and put the best team on the field.  God rest his soul.
