

Warren William Wolf, loving husband, devoted father and Papa, and treasured friend entered eternal life peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 12, 2021. Warren was born in July of 1939 to William “Bill” and Helen Wolf.
He was proud to have served in the US Marine Corps combat intelligence unit from 1961 to 1964. Warren was united in marriage to Lois Knoll in Scottsbluff, NE, February 1963. Upon returning to the states, he continued to pursue higher education at Doane University, Crete, NE where he earned his BA Degree and later received a Masters of Education from University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska,
Warren worked in several capacities during his career as a clinical psychologist which included Principal at Martin Luther Home, Beatrice, NE; and Director of Residential Services at Village NW Unlimited, Sheldon, IA. from which he retired after 29 years. He made a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities and touched many hearts
He was a proud Marine and Vietnam Veteran serving as a Commandant of Northern Co. Marine Corp League Detachment #785. He was a member of the American Legion and the Lion’s Club. Warren loved the outdoors and was a naturalist who found joy in hunting, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and biking. In addition, Warren was part of a local fishing club. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America as both an Eagle Scout and a Scout Master. Warren also enjoyed helping out in the community and touching the lives of others by working with Stephen’s Ministry. Warren was someone who embodies the concept of the lifelong learner spending much of his spare time reading and participating in Toastmasters. He proudly supported his children and grandchildren and went to their various activities. Warren could often be found cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Denver Broncos. Warren had many different hobbies over the course of his life such as classic cars, wood-working, and more recently, coin collecting. He believed in living life to the fullest.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Lois, of Fort Collins, CO; children, Troy (Missy) Wolf of Fort Collins, CO; Kimberly Wolf (Jeff) Soong of Castle Pines, CO; grandchildren Torie, Ella, Logan and Kai. Sister, Janet Roll of Kansas City, Mo. He is also survived by many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends whom he also considered his family.
Warren‘s family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Allnut Drake Road Chapel in Fort Collins.
Interment will follow with Military Honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery September 2, at 11:30am.
