Bill graduated from Poudre High School. While in high school, he began his career in law enforcement as a Reserve Dispatcher for the Fort Collins Police Department. Upon graduating from high school, he entered the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Upon his return to civilian life, he picked up his law enforcement career by working for the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and then with the Fort Collins Police Department. He eventually started his own business, Colorado Collision Consultants.
He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, camping, working in the yard, and being with family and friends. He especially enjoyed being a part of and being with the Three Amigos.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeri, and his brother Rick and wife Oladale. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Ron.
Bill did not wish for a service. He asked that his friends take a minute to send him a prayer or special thought and to enjoy every minute of their lives. For those who wish to remember Bill in a special way, may make gifts in his memory to Pathways of Northern Colorado.
