Abigail Rodriguez

Abigail (Parra) Rodriguez, 87, a Lifetime resident of Placentia, California, passed away in her home on Thursday, the 9th of July, 2015. She was born in Placentia, California on Tuesday, November 29, 1927, to Maria (Gonzalez) and Federico Parra. Abigail entered into matrimony on December 26, 1948, with Ronald C Rodriguez, and together had seven children, five grandsons and nine great-grandchildren. Abigail was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years. Ronald, her parents, her brother Yrineo, her sister Josephine (Elks) and grandson Robert. Abigail had a diverse work history that included working the production line for Dixie Cup, a silk screening quality control inspector, and a billing clerk for a children's dental group. A devout catholic, Abigail has been a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church of Placentia and a loyal member Y.L.I. for over 5O years. Abigail Is survived by siblings Mary Lou (Cruz Madina), Rachel (Rodriguez) and Albert (Linda), daughters Ramona, Rita, son Ronald. (Sherry), daughters Roberta (Philip Justice), Rachel, Rosemary (John Albergo), son Richard (Heather), grandsons Nicholaus, Richard (Erica), Ronald (Michelle), Brandon (Jessica), Cameron (Rachel), and great-grandchildren Reese, Emily, Gabriel, Johnathan, Cambria, Cash, Rocco, Rhiannon and Roman with another to be born in August. A celebration commemorating her life will take place Monday, August 3, 2015, at St Joseph Church. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m., with a mass to be said at 10:30 am. Cremation is being arranged by McAulay & Wallace. She will be interned at Riverside National Cemetery.
