Allan John Olson, 86, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 27, 2017. He passed following a battle with cancer. Graduated from OSU, where he served a president of the SAE fraternity. Al was then off to enlist in the Air Force as an officer and jet pilot. Allan was a charter member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Fullerton. He was also a 50 year member of 1st Presbyterian Church, serving on several committees. Allan enjoyed helping others, volunteering at numerous charities including Western Youth Services, WTLC, and Crittenden Services. Allan had a long career as a food technologist at Hunt-Wesson and Safeway. He loved the outdoors, hobbies included fishing, hunting and poker with close friends. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Survived by his loving wife of 64 yrs Jo Anne; son Brad ( wife Cara); daughter DeAnn. Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Tues. Oct. 17 at 1st Presbyterian Church, Fullerton.
