Blake was someone who inspired me deeply with the way he lived. Boldly. I looked up to the way he enjoyed life while striving to build something great . He was a cherished friend to my Dad and of tremendous help to our family by generously extending his knowledge of the Glass business to allow us to open shop in Tennessee. He will be deeply missed. Rest well Blake.

We were fortunate to meet an incredible human being, a polite, respectful, but above all, humane gentleman. He kept us in his heart, like his family, he identified with our struggle to work and get ahead. He taught us that only through hard work can dreams be built. He was a light in every place he visited, an example for us to follow. Blake Golden left us with the best teachings and beautiful memories that only family can provide. As Carolina's mother, I thank you for all your love for her. As a human being, your hugs and your affection fly to that place where one day we will meet, and our embrace will be very special. Here you leave your heart and your memories.

I have several funny stories about your dad.  But this day really stands out and remains one of funniest days with your dad and my dad.   We were coming back from Hell’s Kitchen and were on our bikes.  The 3 of us were going to race on Imperial Hwy from Orangethorpe to Kellogg.  I almost took my dad out when we took off from the light.  Blake was on a mission to beat us.  I eventually passed your dad ( I was on the fastest bike) but your dad didn't want to let off the gas.   As we were exiting Kellogg, your dad forgot to slow down as we had to turn on Kellogg.  The next thing I see is your dad drifting sideways on the corner into oncoming traffic. "Luckily" there were no cars in that lane and he kept his bike up.  I looked at your dad as he was sideways on his Harley and could not believe what I was seeing...  Once I knew he was ok, I smiled and shook my head like I was the dad, and he was the dumb kid.  Every time I come to that corner, I laugh and think about your dad.  Your dad was like a second dad to me, and I will always remember him.  P.s. I hope this story makes you smile.  Love you guys - Vinny

Though life often brings heartache we cannot understand, we remain deeply grateful for the time we were blessed to share with Blake.  Our families first crossed paths while our children were in pre-school, and from there, our friendship grew as our lives took many twists and turns.  Together we walked through seasons of sadness, with the loss of Shane, then Bob, and now Blake - experiences and feelings that will forever bind our families together.  

While our hearts are heavy,  we find comfort in knowing that Shane, Bob and Blake are now pain-free and worshiping in the Lord's presence. Blake Kelly Golden, the LEGEND, was a man of fierce ambition and extraordinary work ethic with a heart of gold who was a true believer in God and loved the USA. 
He pursued his dreams with a relentless dedication and inspired all who knew him with his ideas and generosity, not to mention being one of the most daring, adventurous, and funniest guys I know! 
He showed how to strive for greatness. 
He will be deeply missed here on Earth. 
His legacy will live on forever in the lessons he taught us.

Blake was a great friend to many. He was my best friend. We raised our kids together, coached baseball, skydived, water & snow skied, dirt & street biked, road tripped and worked together. We truly lived. He was also  mentor to me and so many people. Blake loved God. Jesus & America. We will miss him on earth but see him again in heaven.
