Eric Hodges was one of the most caring, genuine, intelligent, loyal human beings to grace us with his presence. Everyone that knew him, would describe him as the life of the party, and a shining light. Always animated with making people laugh- he was just a very happy person- ALL OF THE TIME. Eric was a Godly man. He had a conviction to serve others above himself, with no expectation of recognition or anything in return. He loved all things, people, animals, and especially those who were misunderstood. He held himself to a high moral esteem, but he did not judge others. It was important to him that he was truthful.
While no longer physically present with us, Eric will still live on through us. Through the many epic stories in which he is a main character, the fond memories we will all hold dear, and the impact he made in all our lives to be more present, more light hearted, and to find the laughable moments in any situation. He has inspired us all to be kind, see the best in people, and to always help others.
