Frances Stanley passed away peacefully at her home on Wayne Ave. on Dec. 27, 2010. She was born as Frances Fay Barber on April 17, 1913 in Decatur, Alabama. She married Edward Stanley on March 1, 1940 at the Fullerton First Methodist Church and has two children, Sue Ellen and Steven Lee Stanley. She worked with the Fullerton News Tribune as the Society Editor and at the Fullerton Junior College as the Secretary in the Humanities Department. She will be dearly missed by many friends and relatives. Her viewing was held on Wed. Dec. 29 at the McAulay and Wallace Mortuary and her funeral was held on Thurs. Dec. 30 at the First Presbyterian Church. She was laid to rest at the Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton beside her dear late husband and she will be remembered lovingly by family.
