

Miss Hank was born December 8, 1921 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York and was a resident of Yorba Linda for 10 years, Ventura for 16 years after coming from Whittier, California. She worked at First National Bank, New York City, for six years, and retired in 1984 from Mobil Oil Corporation, Los Angeles, after 37 years working as an Accountant in the Exploration and Producing Department. Miss Hank was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of America; Young Ladies Institute, Ventura; Desk & Derrick Club of Long Beach; Southern California Genealogical Society, Glendale; Immigrant Society, Burbank; the British Isles Family History Society USA, Los Angeles, and the Glens of Antrim, County Antrim, North Ireland. Miss Hank was preceded in death by her mother and father, Helen McLaughlin (1994) and Frederick Hank (1931), her sister Kathleen Patricia Hank (2004), and brother-in-law, Jay Edward Slater (1991). Miss Hank is survived by her nieces and nephews, Maureen Slater, Yorba Linda; Beth Slater, Laguna Niguel, and her children, Sara and Katie, Dallas Texas, and Alec Brisbin, Fort Worth Texas; Marianne Slater, Hawthorne; Jay Slater, Paso Robles; Mark Slater and wife Doreen Slater and their children, Ashley, Christopher, and Natalie of Santa Clarita, California.
