Kevin Shawn Simpson

KEVIN SHAWN SIMPSON, age 47 of Yorba Linda, CA passed away of a sudden heart attack, while on vacation on August 7, 2013, in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was born on November 19, 1965 in Fullerton, CA. Kevin graduated from Lakewood High School. He married the love of his life, Pam Libbrecht, in 1989. Kevin worked for UPS for many years and then had the opportunity to go into partnership in an Auto Body Shop, Z Best, in Lake Elsinore, CA. He had a passion for cars. He belonged to a car club and loved going to car shows. He collected classic cars which included a 1940 Ford Convertible, a 1941 Willys, and a 1956 Chevy Truck. He loved to ride and was always improving his Harley Davidson motorcycle. It was on a vacation ride to the Harley Davidson Rally in Sturgis, SD, with Pam and friends that would ultimately be his last ride and the place he went to be with the Lord. He left this world doing what he loved. He leaves behind his beloved wife and two children, Ashley and Shawn. A Viewing will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013, at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary located at 18311 Lemon Dr., Yorba Linda, from 4-7p.m. with a Rosary immediately following. On Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Juliana Falconieri Church located at 1316 N. Acacia Ave., in Fullerton with an unescorted procession to Kevin's final resting place for a burial service at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery located at 7845 E. Santiago Canyon Road, Orange.
