Kip Dennis Dietrich

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle Kip Dietrich of Placentia, 70 years old on March 19th, surrounded by his loving family, who were the light of his life, lost his brief 2 month battle with pancreatic cancer on April 18, 2018. Kip was born in Detroit, Michigan to Edward & Donnis Dietrich, and was the eldest of their 4 children. Kip was married to the love of his life for almost 51 years, Pamela (Metzger) Dietrich. After graduation from UCI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Cal State Fullerton, Kip enjoyed a very successful career as an Engineer on Top Secret Weapons Programs for both Hughes Aircraft & Boeing. Kip was also a Top selling Realtor with TNG Real Estate Consultants and an avid amateur photographer & coin evaluator/collector in his spare time. Kip’s compassion, sense of justice and love for children made him a highly sought after Professional Visitation Monitor for the Riverside, Orange & San Bernardino County Court System. Kip was preceded in death by his loving parents, Ed & Donnis Dietrich, and his brother-in-law Ron Rayl. Kip is survived by his wife Pam; his 3 children, Eric (Jennifer) , Stacy and Michelle (Bill) Bowley; 3 siblings Todd (Eddie & Donna), Debbie (Jo) Armijo and Donni Rayl; and 6 grandchildren Billy, Kiely, Nate, Eva, Ella and Colton. Viewing will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, all at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 717 Bradford Ave, Placentia. Interment is at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery 7845 E. Santiago Canyon Rd., Orange. There is a reception to follow, starting at 1 PM at Moreno’s Mexican Restaurant 4328 E. Chapman Ave., Orange. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for any donations to help offset the funeral expenses. They have also set up a “Go Fund Me” page on Facebook. Family would like to thank the dedicated medical staff at St. Jude Hospital, St. Joseph Pallative Care Team and Vitas Hospice for their love and care for Kip during these difficult 2 months.
