It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kurt Krumes, 76, who passed on February 22, 2025. Born on August 06, 1948, in Irlbach, Germany, Kurt was a devoted husband of 55 years. Kurt was a pillar of strength and compassion in his family and to his friends, sharing a remarkable journey of love and life with his beloved wife, Anna. As a father, he was a source of wisdom, care, and laughter, guiding his children with unwavering support and warmth. As "Papa," he delighted in every moment spent with his grandson, Kyle Krumes, creating a legacy of joy and fond memories that will be cherished forever. To his friends, he was a loyal and caring companion, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, or a hearty laugh.
Living his life in Orange County, Kurt, embodied the spirit of community and generosity. His warm smile, gentle demeanor, and genuine kindness touched everyone he met. He carried a deep appreciation for life, finding beauty in everyday moments and sharing them with those he loved.
Kurt’s strong Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life. His faith provided him with strength and joy, and he shared this with those around him. Kurt adored his wife, and their bond was a testament to true love. He found happiness in the simple things, be it his passion for work, wearing his favorite Tommy Bahama shirts and cargo shorts (even in the middle of winter in Alaska!), or simply enjoying a bottle of wine and a meal off the grill.
Kurt is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna; his children, Kurt Christopher, Kristine, and Kent; and his grandson, Kyle. While his absence leaves an immeasurable void, Kurt's legacy endures in the love he nurtured, the lives he touched, and the countless precious memories he leaves behind.
We will forever miss you and love you!
