Her family fled during WW II, but post war returned to the village where Louise worked on the family farm until she finished high school. After high school, Louise moved to Switzerland then England, learned English, moved to New York, then San Francisco where she attended San Francisco State University and graduated with a degree in English Literature. Upon meeting her husband Sachol Kim at school, they eventually married, moved to New Mexico, then North Carolina where she earned her Master’s in French Literature from Appalachian State University, then moved briefly to Virginia. Their 3 daughters were born in each State along the way before the family settled down in California where they bought their home in Fullerton where Louise lived there for over 40 years. She was initially a stay at home mom, then an accountant, business owner then retired to enjoy her many travels, investing, reading and gardening. Sachol passed in the home in 2018 and in 2020 Louise moved to Redlands with Michele. Although she struggled with many medical illnesses including Alzheimer’s, Leukemia, Pneumonia, Covid, and heart disease, she was very resilient, remained spirited, and survived many close calls. She really had 9 lives. She was able to pass peacefully in Michele's home in Redlands at the age of 85. She is survived by her 3 daughters Mercedes, Michele, and Leslie and 3 grandsons Nathan, Christian, and Connor. She was very loved by friends and family and will be deeply missed.
