Lucy was born on July 8, 1920 in Rochester, Minnesota. She was one of eleven children born to John and Julia Delaney. She was the last surviving member of that family. She died peacefully on August 5, 2013 in her own home with her husband and family at her bedside. Lucy was the loving wife of Ralph W. Martin, Sr. This past April, they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Together they had three sons, Thomas (Jill), Ralph, Jr. (Colleen) and Daniel, and one daughter, Deborah Voss (Tom), fourteen (14) grandchildren and eleven (11) great grandchildren. She spent her entire life devoted to family and their pursuit of excellence and happiness. The family will gather at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary in Yorba Linda on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. for her favorite prayer, the Rosary. Viewing will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Catholic funeral mass will be conducted by Pastor Joseph M. Nettekoven at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Anaheim, CA. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA.
