He was born on August 28th, 1936 in Bellflower, California, the son of Stewart and Emaline Andrews.
Richard attended Fullerton Union High School where he met his wife Joanne of 68 years as well as many life-long friends.
Being an entrepreneur, Richard and Jim Boyd opened and operated Andrews and Boyd Automotive.
Surviving Richard are his two sons and their wives, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Richard was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to many people.
Graveside service will take place at Loma Vista Memorial Park on Saturday, September 28th at 10:00 am.
