"The Old Man" Born in Burlington, NJ, he survived his brother and sister. Robert joined the Navy in 1952 and was in the Korean Conflict. After leaving the Navy he was married and had four sons. He went to work for Public Service Electrical and Gas Co. in New Jersey. Starting as a boiler mechanic and retired as a safety supervisor. Robert was involved with emergency management of Mercer County, NJ. He also was past chief of the Titusville, NJ search and rescue. He also created a fire and rescue squad at the power plant. Being a life member of the Elks, he joined the Bordentown, NJ lodge. After moving to Corona, CA he became the Exalted Ruler of the Corona Lodge #2045 in 2009/2010. He is survived by his wife Alida, sons Robert Jr. of Corona, CA, Brian of Morrisville, PA, Thomas of Perryville, MD, and Ronald of Bristol, PA. He has 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Memorial will be held at the VFW on 1315 Hardy Road, Levittown, PA on Friday Sept 6 from 4 to 8pm.
