Sharon Lee (Pomahac) Hoffman (age 82), born in West Bend, WI August 19, 1941, beloved wife of 54 years to John M. Hoffman (deceased 2013), amazing mom to Amy (Hoffman) Nepsa, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning August 9, 2024, 10 days before her birthday, after a 2 1/2-month battle with metastatic cancer. Her final days were spent in her home of 46 years in Yorba Linda surrounded by family and close friends.
Sharon and John owned and operated Pool Brite pool service in Orange County for over 40 years. In their off time they loved to travel together, especially cruising around the Caribbean or camping with friends. They were also known for hosting get togethers. Every year, Sharon opened her home on Christmas, welcoming anyone who wanted to stop and say hello. In quieter times, Sharon could be found outside doing some gardening, playing games with family and friends, at the beach or on a fishing boat. Sharon was also an avid Packers fan, and rarely missed a game. Go Pack Go!
Known for her loving kindness, generosity, and protective nature, Sharon will be dearly missed by all who knew her and for the joy that she brought them. She is survived by her daughter, Amy, (husband Jeff and the Nepsa Family), her sister Vicki Nelson and brothers Roger and Jeff Pomahac, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Joanne, niece Suzette Hoffman, sister-in-law Kathy (Bob) Bean, and many other dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, countless close friends and her beloved cat Sassy.
