Tania Marialena Crenshaw

 Tania Marialena Crenshaw, 44, entered God’s kingdom on Monday (April 3, 2017) after a courageous battle with cancer, as she reunited with her father, Edgar Victor August.  Tania was born and raised in Durban, South Africa, and relocated to the United States at the age of 13. After graduating from high school, Tania moved to Reno, Nevada, where she met her husband and the love of her life, Mike Crenshaw. They later moved to California, where they spent several years living in the Bay Area before settling in Yorba Linda, where she lived with her loving family for the past 12 years. Tania was a dedicated and loving mother to Dominic and Ethan Crenshaw who survive her. She is also survived by her mother, Lorraine Amadeo, Thurn August (brother), Gillian August-Thorp (sister), and an enormous circle of loving friends and family.  Tania loved the outdoors, particularly the ocean, and was active in mud-runs and had a love for sports, especially football, basketball and soccer. Most importantly, she loved being in the company of friends and family, where she would share her warm smiles over a glass of wine. She had a gentle and courageous spirit, was selfless, positive and beautiful in every aspect of her being. She brought out the best in all who knew her. Tania will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to be graced by her presence.  Having worked at Chapman University, Tania believed in the importance of education. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that contributions in her honor be made to a scholarship fund in the names of her children, Dominic and Ethan Crenshaw.
