

Carlos was born on October 24,1954 to Juana A. Cabrera and Carlos S. Cabrera in San Salvador, El Salvador. He came to the United States in 1972, 49 years ago. He attended BCC high school where his love for basic mechanics arose. His mentor Eddie Barillas guided him at The Community Auto Services in Bethesda for 15 years.
Carlos was a man of few words with a huge desire in helping others as much as he could. He was self-motivated, clever, loving, and wise. Carlos had many passions including soccer, long car rides, cooking, watching movies and fixing up old cars and so much more. Yet what fulfilled Carlos the most was spending time with his family and loved ones.
Carlos was a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed going to church every Sunday which was then followed by going out to eat at any new restaurant.
Carlos impacted everyone he met and left behind a great legacy and memorable memories.
He survived by his mother Juana and children Christine, Karla, and Ashley as well as his wife Daisy. His grandchildren Eva, Arel, and Sofia. His siblings Eduardo, Blanca, Sandra, Melvin, Jessica, and Tito, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Kentland Ward, 16 Kent Garden Circle, Gaithersburg MD, 20878, on Friday, July 21. 2023 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
A ceremony will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Kentland Ward, 16 Kent Garden Circle, Gaithersburg MD, 20878 on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Germantown MD.
