

Carol was born on January 4, 1937, in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Dukehart and the older sister of Elizabeth (Betty) Blinkhorn.
She attended St. Ann’s School and Holy Trinity High School in Washington, D.C. and Marymount College in Arlington, VA. Carol was an entrepreneur at heart and started an aerobics company, Trim & Terrific, in the early 1980s, and with her great eye for beauty and decorating, started her own interior design business later in life. Her home in Bethesda was selected for the Potomac House and Garden Tour.
Carol was a life-long devoted Catholic and was a parishioner at Little Flower, Our Lady of Mercy, and Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic churches. She volunteered at the St. Vincent De Paul thrift store. In addition, Carol was an avid golfer, tennis player, and gardener. One of her greatest joys was volunteering with the CASA program in Montgomery County.
Carol met the love of her life, Bill Rolle, when she was just 16 years old, and they married in 1957. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage together, relocating to their beloved St. Michaels, MD in 2010, where they lived out their retirement years playing golf and enjoying time with their friends.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, William Christopher Rolle, Jr, and survived by her four children Cathy Ambrogi, William Rolle III (Lisa), Scott Rolle, Chris Rolle (Tracie), ten grandchildren Kristin Barrett (Tim), Matthew Ambrogi, Jessica Rolle, Meaghan Rickman (Lee), Scott Rolle, Devon Rolle (John), Chris Rolle (Alex), Nick Rolle (Abby), Jack Rolle, Liam Rolle and three great-grandsons, Bailey Barrett, Kieran Barrett, and Henry Rickman.
Funeral services will be conducted at Mater Dei School Chapel, 9600 Seven Locks Road, Bethesda, MD at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm.
Internment will be private at a later date.
