

Dr. Charles (Chuck) A. Peck, Jr., a retired Colonel in the United States Army, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Born on March 17, 1939 to Charles and Sarah Peck in East Liverpool, OH, Chuck enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and baseball. He graduated from Ohio University in 1961 with a degree in zoology and graduated from medical school at the University of Cincinnati in 1965. He entered the military and served from 1964-1993. He was married to Patricia Ann Corcoran from June 12, 1965 until her passing on November 22, 1996. In 2006, he remarried Patricia Marie Demers until her passing on July 21, 2021.
As part of his work, Chuck was fortunate to travel with American congressman and meet world leaders, including Pope John Paul II. Personally, as a young man, Chuck loved to play and watch sports, especially football, soccer, running, and golf. After he retired, he loved to play golf, do crossword puzzles, and spend time with his grandkids.
Chuck is survived by his children and their spouses Charles, Tracy (Mark), Mark (Kelly), Andrea (John), Michael (Amber), Erin (Brian), Megan (Tom), and Colleen (Daisy), 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandaughter. Services will be held on Friday June 21, 2024 at Mother Seton Catholic Church (mothersetonparish.org) in Germantown MD, with a viewing from 10-11 am and funeral services from 11 am-12 noon. His interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America (vva.org), the American Cancer Society (Donate Today | The American Cancer Society), the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), or a charity of your choice in his name
