Colleen Elizabeth Ryan passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Washington, D.C. on April 16,1965 to Patrick C. Ryan and the late Judith Ann Ryan. She is survived by her father and her sisters, Dianne M. Thorndike (Eric),Kathleen T. Ryan and brother Patrick D. Ryan. She attended Holy Trinity Grade School, Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, and the University of Maryland. She enjoyed her long career in financial services with Johnston, Lemon & Co., Ryan, Lee & Co, and TRUIST Securities. She was a loyal fan of the Redskins, CAPS, TERPS, and NASCAR.
Family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD from 11:00a.m. until 12:00PM when the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. John Enzler. Interment will follow to Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, Washington, D.C. or to Casey House Hospice, Rockville, MD.
