Dorothy Elizabeth Magyar

In addition to being a devoted and loving wife for 61 years to Arthur J. Magyar (d. 2019), Dottie was mom to Christina Moret with husband David; Kathleen Pavesi with husband Michael (d. 2018); and Lisa Goetz with husband Paul. Her grandchildren are Peter Moret, Michael Moret, Amy Griffith, and Katherine Goetz. She had three young great-grandchildren also.

Prior to starting her family, Dottie worked as a bookkeeper at the G.C. Murphy Home Office in McKeesport, PA. She was a member of the St. Mark (formerly St. Eugene) Roman Catholic Church in Liberty Boro, PA.

Dottie was an accomplished seamstress, cook, and baker. She loved the Steelers, playing cards, shopping, and playing with her grandchildren and family dogs. She had a great love for her family.
