Frances Lee Herzog

Frances Lee Herzog (Mom, Mamaw, Frannie, Fran, Grace) of Germantown, MD passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Fran was the wife of the late Russell Walter Herzog, Jr. She leaves behind her loving children - Michelle, Andrea, Christine, and Russell and her beloved grandchildren - Michael, Christopher, Anna, Addison, Reagan, and Sydney. She is also survived by her sister, Terry (Ward) Casey as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Fran spent the majority of her life not only staying home raising her children, but she could also be found babysitting many kids and opening her home to all the neighborhood kids. She later went back to work where she cultivated many friendships that she treasured dearly.

Mom had a love of life that knew no bounds. You could always find her smiling and enjoying herself at the wonderful celebrations she was excited to be a part of. She could often be found playing bingo, shuttling her grandkids around, or spending time with her sorority sisters.

Visitation will be held at Devol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Dr., Gaithersburg, MD on Friday, March 31 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
