Gregory Harold Marshall, Sr.

Gregory Harold Marshall, Sr. was born September 6, 1960, the youngest of seven children, to the late Reverend Eugene M. Marshall, Jr. & Fannie E. Marshall in Washington, DC. He entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2023, in Centerville, Virginia.

Greg worked for the United States Postal Service for 27 years, where he performed as a Senior Manager. Greg will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, his laugh, and his love towards everyone.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters Regina and Patricia. He leaves to cherish his memory, his four children, KaTera (Josh), Gregory Jr. (Keyonda), Alexis, and Brianna, along with his two grand-children, Jackson and Jordan, and expected grandson “George.”

As a father he taught them how to be strong and keep faith no matter the circumstances. His siblings Jacqueline Charity, Phyllis, Vivian, and Eugene Marshall, a host of nieces and nephews, and family and friends, will forever remember him.

A Visitation and Funeral Service is being held at Upper Room Baptist Church (60 Burns St NE Washington, DC 20019) on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM, interment following at National Harmony Memorial Park at 2:30 PM.

The viewing will be on Thursday (at the Upper Room Baptist Church) January 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
