Beloved husband of Maria Byrne; loving father of John Byrne (Laura), Michael Byrne (Dawn), Mary Cissel and James Byrne, Jr.; grandfather of Wilson Cissel, James Byrne, John Byrne and Caleb Byrne; son in law of Edith Difato and the late Michael Difato; cousin of Annie Vella. Jim was predeceased by his parents, John and Grace Byrne.
