Jean Snyder Gosbee

On July 8, 2023, Jean S. Gosbee of Rockville, MD. Loving mother of Barbara G. Walker (Garry), Sandra G. Mindte and George P. Gosbee (Donna); Mother-in-law of the late Paul W. Mindte. Also survived by five grandchildren: Carrie L. Lyons (Joe), Tricia Compton (Eddie), Kristen W. Barry (Jeremy), Timothy Gosbee, Scott C. Walker (Kate); seven great grandchildren: Ashley M. Vincent, Matthew C. Lyons (Rachel), Hayley Brashear, Kevin Gosbee, Elijah Garcia, Owen W. Barry, William Gosbee, Kyle P. Barry; two great, great grandchildren: Grayson B. Vincent, Reid A. Vincent.

She enjoyed a 32-year career with Montgomery County Public Schools in the Accounting Office, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Triple F through the Rockville Senior Center, the Damascus Travel Club and the Rockville United Methodist Church, where she took care of the nursery during Church services for several years. In her retirement she traveled, enjoyed reading and time with her family.

Friends may call at Rockville United Methodist Church, 112 West Montgomery Avenue, Rockville, MD 20850 on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be held at Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville, MD.
