Jennifer Marie Allen

Jenny was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, on April 5, 1992. Jenny grew up in Germantown, Maryland and and graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 2010 and Bridgewater College in 2014. She received her M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University in 2023.

A quiet soul, Jenny was happiest when she was listening to music and dancing. She had a happy and bright personality, she loved to laugh and to make others smile. She was giving and kindhearted, looking for ways to help and support those around her.

Jenny worked for Marriott International since 2018, most recently at the North Bethesda Marriott. She loved working in hospitality, using her unique people skills to brighten people’s days. She was so passionate about Marriott, and it truly felt like she had found her work home.

She loved to swim and was on her community’s swim team from the age of five, and later, on her high school and college swim teams until she was forced to quit due to medical issues.

Jenny loved spending time with her family, especially with her niece and nephews, who adored their “Auntie Jenny”. She loved animals, especially cats, and was the “mom” to two cats, Ellie and Gigi.

Jenny is survived by her parents, Richard and Ruth Ann (Moody) Allen, of Clarksburg, Maryland, her sister Rebecca Boulio (and husband, Adam) of Manassas, Virginia; her brother Paul (and wife, Jessica) of Arvada, Colorado; her niece and two nephews; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Jenny was deeply loved by all her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Neelsville Presbyterian Church, 20701 N. Old Frederick Road, Germantown, Maryland, on Saturday, 27 September at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Love A Cat, the cat rescue organization from which Jenny adopted her two cats. https://loveacat.org/donate/
