I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Lynch. He was a valued member of the Clinical Subcommittee of the DC Ombudsman's Office. His kind and thoughtful demeanor and presentation will be missed. I learned so much in terms of advocacy for those in dire need. Thank you Dr. Lynch

The clinical subcommittee was saddened to learn of Dr. Lynch's death and will miss him so much. He was a staunch advocate for the committee's mission and goals and was one of three pioneering members. Dr. Lynch generously shared his time and professional knowledge with the committee on many clinical matters and strongly encouraged other stakeholders to join the committee's efforts. He is gone from our sight, but never ever from our hearts and minds. We will never forget him for the man and doctor he was.

My sympathy to Jack´s families. As a mentor in ethics, he taught me well. As a colleague, he remains responsible for much of what I know. He was always honest, loving, caring and respectful to all with whom he interacted. He will be missed greatly.

Our families have been friends and relatives for many years. Love for 'Da' remains with us - for love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade - they live on in our hearts.

Dear Jack, Maureen, Eileen, Kathleen and Megan, I remember your Dad's sharp wit and dry sense of humor. He was a fine physician through and through. Our families have shared years of wonderful experiences and memories which we have never forgotten. Jack was the Associate Medical Director at the Washington Cancer Institute when I began my practice in 1993. He was a mentor, role model and friend. He was generous with his time, his advice and was a great source of support as we built our program. He was an advocate for patients and embodied the words of Thomas Huxley, "It is not who is right, but what is right that is of importance". His contributions to the Medical Ethics program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center were immeasurable. He will be missed.

Dr. Lynch (Jack) was a wise and caring physician, mentor, teacher and colleague. I loved his directness that pushed you to think and relate to others with more compassion. Dr. Lynch was a very loving, giving, caring person, colleague, and friend. He will be sorely missed. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity for our paths to cross. His legacy here at MedStar Washington Hospital Center will forever live. We love you Jack, may you rest in peace.
