On Wednesday, August 1, 2018, Joseph Gerard McGinnity (JoJo) of North Potomac, MD passed away unexpectedly. He was the beloved husband of Beth Anne McGinnity; loving father of Brendan Thomas, Kevin Patrick and the late Molly Kathleen McGinnity; son of Joseph T. McGinnity; brother of Maura T. (Erik), Donna M. (Jim), Patrick J. (Dawn) and Tereasa M. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Maura and mother Fidelma. Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at Mother Seton Catholic Church, 19951 Father Hurley Boulevard, Germantown, MD 20874 on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s College High School Men’s Soccer Program in Memory of Joe McGinnity.
